Project Manager - Contract Position

In this Contract Position, you will:
- Be the Single Point of Contact for the Customer, Trades and Suppliers
- Be an independent Contractor who reports directly to the Kon-strux Senior Project Manager and Owners
- Plan and organize all facets of the construction project from start to finish using proven Kon-strux process, procedures and methodologies
- Direct all daily activities on site and ensure constructability, quality and safety at all times
- Be a quick thinker who provides creative solutions to challenging situations
- Work well with others - Customers, Owners/Management, Trades, Suppliers, and Peers
Project Manager’s responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:
Managing all aspects and phases of the construction project - Upfront Sales/Budgeting, Planning, Construction and Close-out
Ensuring the project runs smoothly according to the Scope of Work, Budget and Schedule
Preparing, maintaining and managing all project documentation for the duration of the project - scope, budgets, contracts, schedules, project binders, procurement, change orders, reports, and deliverables
Preference will be given to those qualified candidates who:
- Have related education at the college/university level or equivalent training and experience
- Have 5 years experience in the construction/estimating industry; 5 years experience in managing people; 2 plus years experience in project management
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate high levels of integrity, honesty and ethics
- Can work independently and also be a strong team player
- Are computer savvy (MSWord, Excel and Outlook)
- LEED® certification would be an asset
